This rustic roping is 18 gauge wire masquerading as a tree branch! Wrapped in layer upon layer of jute and natural fibers, this wire is your solution for the back of grapevine wreaths, for making twirly vine coils on your pumpkin stems, or for stemming your Sola Wood Flowers with a more realistic wire.
Sold in increments of 5 feet and available in three colors (tan, dark brown, and green). Ordering multiples will give you a longer length (example, a qty of 2 will give you a 10 foot piece), which you can cut to any length you desire using wire cutters.
DIRECTIONS: To use this wire as a stem for your wood flowers, cut wire to length with pliers (you may need to follow up with scissors in case all the fibrous bits don’t get severed), scrunch back the wire on one end to reveal about 1/4″ to 1/2″ of bare wire, coat wire with hot glue and insert into the back of your wood flower. The jute will bounce back to cover the exposed wire, and stick to any glue that has oozed out. Nobody will know there’s actually a wire under there.
